ITL Research Phase I technical supplement
This paper describes the process used for global analysis of surveys and LASW. It now includes a description of the qualitative analysis process as well.

We wrote this with two goals in mind:

  • To let you know what we did, to make it easier for you to work with the data and discuss global results in presentations
  • To explain our methods to research-savvy consumers of this research.

ITL Year One Methods: School Leader and Teacher Survey (NEW)

ISP_Eval_Year_2 ISP_Eval_Year_2 ITL Research methods are public documents available to members of the ITL Research community of researchers and education leaders, and each method is updated each year based on the learning from the previous year. Here are the recently updated ITL Research Teacher Survey and the ITL Research School Leader Survey (revisions based on Pilot Year findings). The questions and items in these surveys provide measures of the following elements of the ITL Model: School Culture and Supports, ICT Access and Support, Educator Attitudes, and Innovative Teaching Practices. Other ITL Research methods provide direct observation data to compare with the self-reported data collected through these surveys.
